Service: Air Quality Index (AQI)
Description: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that air quality reports be provided by state and local agencies, using EPA`s Air Quality Index (AQI). The AQI is a uniform index that provides the public with timely and easy-to-understand information on local air quality and whether air pollution levels pose a health concern. LDEQ has established an online tool to locate air quality information for various regions of the State.
