Purpose/Function The Public Retirement Systems’ Actuarial Committee (PRSAC) was created by the Louisiana Legislature in 1988 to ensure orderly and consistent strategies for continuing development and growth of Louisiana’s state and statewide retirement systems, pension plans, and funds in order to attain and maintain their fiscal soundness.

7/18/16 - Updates reflect new Chairman & Vice Chairman chosen at the 6/7/16 meeting. State retirement systems voted for Shelly Johnson to be their PRSAC voting member effective 7/11/16.

Newly elected Governor John Bel Edwards appointed Jay Dardenne as Commissioner of Administration. All other updates to membership have been made to date. 1/20/16 LMartin

Effective 10/15/15, Governor Jindal appointed Stafford Palmieri as Commission of Administration to replace Kristy Nichols.

At its meeting of 3/6/14, PRSAC elected Daryl Purpera, Legislative Auditor, as its new chairman, and Benjamin Huxen, Designee for Commissioner Kristy Nichols as the Vice Chairman.

All approved minutes have been posted to date. Senate Secretary Clarissa Moore is completing minutes from meetings when Senator Guillory was chairman: September 4, 2013, and March 6, 2014.
