Browser Support

Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, and Tableau Public support the following web browsers:

  • Chrome on Windows, Mac, and Android
  • Microsoft Edge on Windows
  • Mozilla Firefox and Firefox ESR on Windows and Mac
  • Apple Safari on Mac and iOS
  • Note: Since June 15, 2022, Internet Explorer (IE) is NO LONGER supported by Microsoft or Tableau.

Unable to Sign In Common Errors

User account not found

Unable to Sign in

Message: Unable to Sign in - You're not a member of this site or this site does not exist
Cause: Your active account is not a user on the server.
Solutions:
   1) Click the “Try Again” button and repeat the login process.
   2) Clear your browser cache (see instructions below) and close all browser windows and then retry the login process.
   3) If this is still occurring, email OTSAppDMStatewideAnalytics@la.gov to let us know and include a screenshot of your PC-Info information that includes your UPN information (see screenshot).

How to Clear Chrome Cache

Step 1: Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the Google Chrome web browser. Then click on the Delete browsing data button.

Step 2: Click on the Time range drop down menu and select All time. Make sure the checkboxes for Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files are marked. Click Delete data button.

Step 3: Close all open Chrome browser windows before trying to login again.

How to Clear Edge Cache

Step 1: Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the Microsoft Edge web browser. Then click on the Settings button in the drop down menu.

Step 2: Click on the Privacy, search, and services button from the menu on the left hand side of the browser.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Clear browsing data section. Click on the Choose what to clear button.

Step 4: Click on the Time range drop down menu and select All time. Make sure every check box is selcted in the Clear browsing data popup menu. Click on Clear now and wait for the browser to load.

Step 5: Close all open Edge browser windows before trying to login again.
